Activities:

Activity 1: Get to know each other, learn the order of the creation days

Print the following cards. Cut out with the Day and Creation on separate cards (Total of 14 cards) and throw into a hat.

Let every student/group draw a card from the hat. Each student needs to find the other student with their corresponding card. Example: The person with “Day 1” needs to find the person with “Light”. If there aren’t enough students for all the cards, let each student take more than 1 card.

Activity 2: Art

Print the cards above and cut out with Day and Creation on the same card (total of 7 cards), put into a hat.

Let every student/group draw a card from the hat and either:

1.   Draw what is on the card (you will need paper and pencils), or

2.  Enact what is on the card without words.

The other students/groups must guess which Day was picked by the original group

Activity 3: Discussion – Our task to look after the earth and animals

  1. Can you think of ways how we should look after the earth and animals?
  2. Name different types of pollution.
  3. What is recycling?
  4. Which materials do you recycle at home?
  5. What is global warming?

Aktiwiteite:

Aktiwiteit 1: Ken mekaar, leer die volgorde van die skeppings dae

Druk die volgende kaartjies. Knip uit met die Dag en Skeppingswerk op aparte kaartjies (totaal van 14 kaartjies) en gooi in ‘n hoed.

Laat elke student/groep ‘n kaartjie trek. Die studente moet dan uitvind wie het hulle ooreenstemmende kaartjie. Bv. Die persoon met “Dag 1” moet die persoon soek wat “Lig” op sy kaartjie het ens.  As jy te min studente het, laat elkeen meer as 1 kaartjie trek.

 

Aktiwiteit 2: Kuns

Druk die kaartjies hierbo en knip uit met Dag en Skeppingswerk op dieselfde kaartjie (totaal van 7 kaartjies), gooi weer in ‘n hoed.

Laat elke student/groep ‘n kaartjie trek en dit dan:

  1. Teken (jy benodig papier en potlode), of
  2. Handgebare gebruik sonder woorde om die kaartjie uit te beeld

Die ander studente/groepe moet dan raai watter dag die oorspronklike groep getrek het.

Aktiwiteit 3: Bespreking – Ons opdrag om na die aarde te om te sien

 

  1. Kan jy aan maniere dink hoe ons na die aarde en diere moet omsien?
  2. Noem verskillende soorte besoedeling.
  3. Wat is herwinning?
  4. Watter materiale herwin julle by die huis?
  5. Wat is globale verwarming?
